NYCWP Voices

An unofficial social network for teachers in the New York City Writing Project

No seriously, I had a lot of good teaching and learning with this little piece of online software this Spring. Writing with Hypertextopia brings with it a web of past teaching and learning experiences and imagined future conversations all circling around digital storytelling and links and hypertext, and a new form of literacy that transforms the space of our reading experience. (I'm worried that this sentence is one that I'll go back to later, and wonder what the heck I was trying to say.)

So I've started one, I wonder if I can go back to that one and start filling it in. Can I give myself the time to play that way? I hope so.

Please write more about that sentence - within it is the next piece that I need of the idea of connective writing.

I am interested to see how to use this hypertextopia. It sounds exciting and will expand our horizons. You will give us all time to play with this hypertextopia. I guess this is what we will explore today.
