Afternoon Day 10: Final Product Woes

Well, I started working on my final product, and I'm having some difficulties. I first put a question on Twitter to create my chat modality, but no one has responded yet. Then, I looked back at my looped writing piece and tried to decide what would be useable and what is not. I decided that I liked my quote and its explanation, as well as some parts of my dialogue, and so I thought I could combine these, with some editing, to create my text. So, I worked on that for a while and I think it is almost finished. Then, I realized that I also need a quote, so I thought maybe I should use my quote for the quote modality, and use the explanation for the text. I'm still thinking that through. Now I was at a loss as to what to work on next. I looked through the different modalities we have to create and I have ideas for them all, but I was not sure how and what to get started on with only 25 mins. left of play time. I finally decided to get started on my image, and looked for some clip art images in Word. I found one I wanted, but when I tried to cut and paste it into my Google Docs, it would not work. So, I need to figure out a different way to create my image, which I am still pondering, along with my entire idea for my image. I think I will take home a headset and work on my video at home, although I don't have a real clear idea of what I'm going to do for that at this point. I think this process is teaching me that I am most comfortable working with text and that I need to expand my mind and reflect on how to best represent my ideas in images, video, and audio. That's what I'll be doing on my subway ride home, if I don't fall asleep, that is.
