I could probably sit here all day doing this research. There's just so much out there, and so much I want to learn about my topic. I'm finding that the more I search, they more questions open up and the more I want to know. I think I'm going to need to revisit this morning's loop writing to refocus myself and my search.

I think that's an important point to remember about taking students through the research process - that managing research is a task in itself and in order to make research manageable, we need to engage in a continual process or revisiting and refining our topic and questions.

I'm wondering what tomorrow will bring and hoping that we'll have lots o' time for working on this project. I found that I spent all of my time looking through sources that I haven't even begun to isolate things or even think about how I'm going to string this all together. And I've got those tumblr icons looming over my head like little reminder ghosts - "don't forget the audio, the video ... you need a quote ... and a visual ..."

I'm sure it'll all come together ...

I think tumblr is a great place to be able to put all our accumulated stuff. To this end, I think it was very thoughtful of Paul to have us do our final project here. The idea that we are not only learning how to use all these great tools, but learning how to link them all together in one place is great!

Yeah, "it'll all come together . . ." The person invented tumblr really has great ideas. I am excited and nervous at the same time toward this project, too. I like what you said: "in order to make research manageable, we need to engage in a continual process . . ." I can't recall how many topics or themes have run through my mind; I still don't have any concrete ideas what product I will produce. I hope I will find a topic meaningful for me, but I may just take this opportunity to practice using those icons, if I can't zero in any topic by tomorrow morning.
