Again, I see when you play with something it gets to be fun. I found the twurl this afternoon extremely easy to use to post things. I took a video from you tube, pictures from someones flikr, my own pictures, quotes. I even went over paul's computer to record an mp3. That was cool, I never knew how to do that before. I am loving this tech stuff. I am really learning about new tools to use on the internet. I started a blog, I am playing with the twurl. I do not know about microblogging or why its called that. I feel I am getting a feel for these tools that we are learning about. I can see having twurl presentation instead of a power point presentation for a class project. I just want to make sure it is safe. I am enjoying these tools. The loop was fun, it was fun stretching the writing. I am appreciating writing after years of not doing it. I think I like to write creatively and freely. I struggle with certain writing at times because it feels to stiff. I think I need to make it less stiff for my students. Make it more free for them when they write for projects and the like. I do not know how to get out of the box of that in social studies research papers. I see it might be easier for economics if I give a student a project on his our her role in the global economy. I see a lot of things that we have done for me to use. I see everyone has something different to do with their work and what they are learning to do with the internet. I feel good about what i am learning and am glad I signed up for this class.
