This week, last week, and the week before has been a great experience. Learning about the internet, web 2.0 tools, and re-engaging with witting. I truly enjoyed the whole experience. It was a great time, a a lot of wonderful tools for me to use while teaching history. This will help incorporate history into the classroom and and on the internet. Learning about blogging and its tool in expressing views, feelings, and reflections about the world that we are learning about.

Here is my tumblr. I have used my loop writting from yesterday to write a story about the feeling of running. I have also added links of things that go with my running.

Again, I see when you play with something it gets to be fun. I found the twurl this afternoon extremely easy to use to post things. I took a video from you tube, pictures from someones flikr, my own pictures, quotes. I even went over paul's computer to record an mp3. That was cool, I never knew how to do that before. I am here to see the resources I can use in the classroom. I will pick and choose what I think will work best for my classes. I am not so concerned on presenting it anybody I work with. Of course, I will share with those who are interested. I don't think we need to be experts. My past experience working with the internet and computers in the classroom it is experimental. Today was good to play around find a new sight. I kind of like the tumlr. It seems easy to use, a nice little blog and place to store certain feeds. I guess google reader is something I have used for a while put never got to organizing what I had. I did not realize about searching for the key terms and and then adding by the key terms to my google reader account.
