- Who am I?
- I am a teacher of Commercial Art for 21 years at the High School of Graphic Communication Arts, formerly the New York School of Printing. I am an artist, a digital designer and typographer, a writer, a calligrapher, a so-so musician and lover of good music. I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a niece and a good friend to some great people. I am a seeker of truth and the spiritual mysteries of life. I am a political activist for better education and conditions for teachers and the teaching profession.
I am a child of the universe, and I have a right to be here, and whether or not it is clear to any of us, I believe the universe is unfolding as it should.
And I am a student and teacher in the New York City Writing Project with Debi and Marjorie, and I love it completely. I am most appreciative that funding is available to support these kinds of projects, to allow teachers to collaborate as professionals with vision and purpose for students and parents.
